Charles University will once again host its Representative Ball in 2026.
This traditional social event will take place for the very first time in the magnificent premises of the Municipal House on Friday, 16 January 2026, starting at 8.00 PM.
From 7.30 PM, a welcome drink will be prepared for guests.
Music for listening and dancing will be provided in the Smetana Hall by the renowned Karel Vlach Orchestra. The evening’s special guest will be Ondřej Ruml. The programme will also feature a tap dance performance, a sports dance showcase by participants of the television show StarDance, and an original scientific stand-up created by FameLab. The main programme will conclude with the band Queenways. In the Sladkovský Hall, guests will enjoy performances by two student bands, and after midnight there will be a video disco. Grégr Hall will serve as a karaoke venue throughout the entire evening.
